Travelife Gold Certified materials
TRAVELIFE GOLD LOGO
Members who were certified after December 2020 can download their logo from Evergreen, the Travelife certifications system. Click here to login to Evergreen. Other Members will have had the logo emailed to them when they achieved certification. Please email info@travelife.org to request another copy of the logo.

TRAVELIFE GOLD PACKS

More resources for certified Members
Your Travelife Gold Certification is an achievement to be proud of and we encourage you to use this as a way to promote your business. Here are some ideas we have put together to get you started: -
Announce your certification
Whether this is your first Travelife Gold Certification or a repeat one, you should use this an excuse to communicate your achievements. We recommend you take some photos of your team with your certificate then put together a communication explaining what the Certification means. For example, the commitments you have made and/or your achievements since your last Certification. You could use this information to do things like: -
- Send an email to past and upcoming guests in your database
- Upload posts to your social media accounts
- Send an email to the tour operators and travel agents you work with
- Email to local community groups you are involved with such as a chamber of commerce or hotel association
- A press release/media alert to local news media
Announce achievements you make against your sustainability goals and targets
If you achieve any of your goals and targets, or make good progress, this is a good reason to communicate to people. For example, if you said you would reduce your energy use by 20% in two years and by the end of the first year you have reduced it by 10%, then you can let people know you are half way to your goal. It always helps if you have photographs or other types of graphics to share. You could alert the same groups of people we listed above.
Organise events and tell people about them
There are a number of creative ways you can engage guests, staff and your community in your sustainability work. For example, you could organise a beach clean, a fundraising event or an educational program. Again, it is important to have photographs and to communicate about it to all of your main stakeholders.
Tell Travelife about your achievements
We always want to hear about your successes and, where appropriate, we will promote these via our own social media accounts. We also keep a file of these stories so that we can respond to any media requests and tell our tour operator Members about them. Use the 'Send us a social media post' or 'Send us a success story' sections of this page to get in touch, or e-mail us at info@travelife.org.
The Travelife Collection is a website we have provided so that travellers can find our Certified Members. Within a few weeks of being Travelife Certified, you will automatically have a listing on this website that contains the following information:
- Property name
- General enquiries email
- Website address
- Location address including address coordinates that will show your location on Google Maps
If you notice any of the above are incorrect on your website listing, you need to update the information in your Evergreen profile. Click here to watch a short video about how to update your Evergreen profile or find written instructions on the Evergreen support page under 'Editing your property profile'. The information will be corrected next time we update the Travelife Collection and we normally do that every 2 weeks.
Enhance your listing
You can complete this form to enhance the listing automatically provided by Travelife. This form will ask you for the following information, some of which is mandatory:
Mandatory
- A description of the property
- A summary of your sustainability commitments
- 3 promotional images of your property
Optional
- Promotional YouTube video
- A link to your sustainability web page
- A PDF of your sustainability policy and/or report
- Information about facilities and features

If you would like us to post about your property on our social media accounts then please complete the form below and upload at least one image. Travelife may verify any claims you have made to ensure that we are always posting accurate information and we may refuse your post if we feel it is not relevant to our sustainability work or is unprofessional.
We always want to hear from Members that have had success with their sustainability initiatives. We use this information to: -
- Inform our tour operators about the excellent work that our Members do
- Decide if we can use the information to make a formal case study that could be used for training or promotional purposes
- Create a database of stories that we can use to respond to any media requests we receive, write blog posts and occasional features on our website
Please complete the form below and include any good quality images you have along with any supporting documents such as signs or documents you produced. Having data is very helpful. For example, if you reduced your food waste by 20% then we would like to see the numbers that you have to support that.
