Since 2014 the resort has had a collaboration agreement with the s'Albufereta Nature Reserve and the Balearic Ministry of Environment to help improve and promote this unique coastal area of Pollença Bay. The special landscape along with a plethora of bird and plant species make this an important ecological area for the Balearic Islands and a wonderful attraction for people to visit.

Portblue Club Pollentia Resort & Spa provide an access point for people wishing to visit a nature observatory within the reserve and they have created an interpretation centre where both their guests and members of the public can learn more about the area and make donations to help fund the conservation work being undertaken, with the resort matching these annual donations.

They also undertake activities to eradicate invasive plant species from immediate surrounds of the reserve, thus helping biodiversity thrive within the borders of the protected area.  At the same time they support reserve management whenever they can with a variety of other activities such as monitoring conservation efforts and wildlife activity, creating and maintaining signage and managing educational installations.
