Certifications and compliance specialist

You can play a vital role in helping to improve the environmental and social impacts of tourism by becoming a certifications & compliance specialist for Travelife, a world leading accommodation sustainability certification programme. 

This full-time permanent role includes full on-the-job training.

Location and benefits

Travelife is wholly owned by ABTA so we are based out of their office in London’s Bankside area, just a few minutes from Borough Market and London Bridge Station.  ABTA offer flexible working so we can accommodate you to work mostly remotely or mostly in the office, whichever you prefer as long as you are able to commute on your office day. We can also be flexible with how you fit your hours around things like childcare, study and personal wellness.

Summer internship

Meet Nicola Pearce, the 2018 ABTA summer intern from Leeds Bradford University, an ABTA Education Partner.  Nicola completed a research project for Travelife about destinations around the world that are taking steps to be more sustainable.

Meet Charlene Pink, the 2019 ABTA summer intern from the University of Surrey, an ABTA Education Partner.  Charlene completed a marketing plan for Travelife that laid out how we could work with destinations around the world to increase the volume of Travelife Certified properties. This included producing research and planning templates as well as designing marketing materials.
