Travelife properties have access to a variety of online tools and resources to help them prepare for a successful audit, and to promote their sustainability achievements.

E-learning

A range of short modules are available in English and Spanish covering topics as diverse as energy, child safeguarding, hazardous substances and animal welfare. There is also an Introduction to Travelife module especially those working with Travelife for the first time or who need a refresher.

Self-assessment tool

Available in English, Spanish, Greek and Turkish, this tool explains what kind of evidence Travelife auditors look for. It will help properties understand how well they are already doing against the Travelife auditing checklist, and what else needs to be done to prepare for a Travelife audit.

Guides, templates and checklists

Over 100 step-by-step guides, templates and examples help properties understand how comply with specific Travelife requirements they might need some help with. These, along with the Travelife Checklists that our independently contracted auditors use to assess compliance during audits, are all available in English, Spanish, Greek and Turkish.

Technology

Our new certifications system, Evergreen, simplifies the certification process. Hotels working on post-audit improvements can easily see exactly what they need to do, exchange messages with Travelife online and upload evidence such as documents, videos and images.

Sustainability marketing resources

A dedicated area of the Member Zone includes sustainability marketing tips and ideas, a form for sending Travelife social media posts they can share on their channels and downloadble Travelife logos. Certified hotels are listed on the consumer website www.staybetterplaces.com and the Hotel Showcase page on the main website highlights properties that achieve excellence in sustainability. We also share a list of Travelife Certified properties with tour operators and online travel agents.
