Each month in 2021 we feature a property that has made outstanding achievements in sustainability.  Our theme in September is responsible travel and we selected this resort due to the efforts they have made to engage their guests on how to improve their environmental and social impacts. A recent episode of the popular BBC show, Amazing Hotels: Life beyond the lobby, highlighted the incredible work involved in the construction of the property to minimise environmental impacts whilst respecting the local community.  The programme also showed other aspects of their sustainability work such as guest rooms designed to minimise energy use and using drought resistant vegetation to reduce the need for irrigation.    Depending on your location, you may be able to watch this show on BBC iPlayer.
